guest house golja exceeded our expectations during our recent stay in bled. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. the location was picturesque and just a short walk to the beautiful lakeside. highly recommended!

No air conditioning.

Had the privilege of enjoying the "free" WiFi throughout my stay. The airport, a mere delightfully long distance away. Set in a region so uniquely named "Gorenjska." Onsite parking, because who doesn't need a little adventure trying to find a parking spot?

Absolutely loved the absence of AC! Sleeping in sauna-like conditions is my definition of a dream vacation.

This hotel offers fantastic value for money. With clean and comfortable rooms, it is a great find for those looking to stay near the lake. The attention to detail is impressive, from the well-equipped private kitchen to the beautiful garden that surrounds the property. Additionally, the breakfast with a view over the fields is simply delightful.

The location, while not right by the lake, is just a short 15-minute walk away, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff were outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. The basic amenities in the clean and comfortable rooms are complemented by the wonderful garden, creating a peaceful oasis. And of course, the highlight was the breakfast served on the balcony, with a stunning view over the fields. It truly made for a memorable stay.

I recently stayed at Guest House Golja for a few days and it was fantastic. The location was perfect as it was nestled closer to the natural beauty of the area. From our terrace, we had stunning views of mountains and a vast grassland. The owner, Amalija, was incredibly welcoming and even cooked delicious omelets for breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, and having our own private bathroom and entrance added to the privacy. Amalija's homemade strudels made from fresh garden fruits were a delightful treat. The peaceful and quiet surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay.

The attention to detail was evident from the moment we arrived, with the friendly staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the garden outside was simply delightful. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast with stunning views over the nearby fields.

Nothing to dislike

The room was cozy and comfortable, with a TV for some evening entertainment. The private bathroom was clean and had a refreshing shower and a hairdryer. The view from some rooms, either of the mountains or garden, was stunning. I loved that this twin room had a kitchenette, a private entrance, and an electric kettle. Having kitchenware provided in this twin room was a convenient bonus.

Personally, I wished the twin room had more kitchenware options available.

We stayed at a lovely guest house on the outskirts of a popular Slovenian town. As we arrived, we were impressed with the homemade treats and fresh juice that greeted us. We had access to a well, equipped kitchen which came in handy. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. the bathroom was well, kept and always clean. the terrace provided a beautiful view over the countryside and was perfect for unwinding after a day out. Parking was available, which was a plus.

The accommodation was a bit of a walk away from the town center, around 15, 20 minutes.

Located in a peaceful residential area, this guest house is a great value for money. The rooms are spacious, tidy, and comfortable. The host is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of choices. Also, the guest house is within walking distance to the town's attractions and amenities which makes it the perfect location for anyone looking to visit the sights.

The absence of air conditioning may be an issue during hot summer months. Additionally, the lack of a signboard made locating the guest house a little tricky. the guest house is an ideal location for a quiet stay in Bled.
